Bathroom Faucets, How to Install a Bathroom Faucet

Bathroom Faucets Moen – How to install bathroom faucet – instructions DIY

How to install faucet in bathroom sink? Watch this Youtube video and see how to remove old faucet and how to install new faucet in your bathroom sink.

The problem with my faucet was that there was no water flowing. Since I am not the original homeowner, the warranty doesn’t cover it, so I had to buy a new one. I had no prior knowledge on how to install a faucet, so I was probably like you searching for answers right now. I watched a video on YouTube about how to install a bathroom faucet, and it seemed to be pretty simple. I chose a Moen product, (Moen Caldwell WS84667), for the following reasons:

I wanted it to be affordable and I wanted the the arc to be high and I also wanted 2 handles. The shower head in that bathroom was chrome, so I chose the chrome finish.

The only other main reason was that I wanted a faucet that comes with a gasket, so I didn’t have to glue it or caulk it.

When I was filming this video, I had no idea about the technical terms, I didn’t know the names of the tools and parts, but I added subtitles so you can easily follow what I am talking about.

I didn’t replace the drain body, because mine was metal, and it was fine, and this kit comes with a plastic drain. I also read some reviews, that some people had some issues with the plastic drain.

My biggest challenge was that I didn’t have the right tool, and I had trouble reaching behind the sink. The hole process took me about 40 Minutes, but if you have better tools and more experience, you can probably get it done much faster.

The tag line for Moen is “Buy it for looks, buy it for life” this also means, that their products come with a Lifetime Warranty, but you have to register your product, and make sure that you keep the original receipt.

If you are a plumber, I would love to hear your comment about what I did wrong and could have done better. I am also curious, how much does it cost to get a plumber replace the bathroom faucet.

If you are like me, and you managed to install the faucet, especially after watching my video, I would love to hear from you, too! You can include the link to your video if you made one in the comments.

If you are an English teacher, or you were just annoyed by my mistakes please correct my English, so I can learn!

And last but not least, please like the video and subscribe to my Channel. I will tackle more DIY projects, everything home related, and I also do tutorials about photography how to make videos.
