This MultiChoice 17 Series tub and shower trim (model T17T497) has a raincan-style showerhead for a soothing shower experience. It comes in a chrome finish, and it’s also available in champagne bronze, Brilliance polished nickel, stainless, and Venetian bronze. In addition to a variety of faucet, tub, and shower options, the Cassidy collection also offers coordinating accessories to help you complete your bathroom — including a glass shelf with coordinating towel bar and two toilet levers that are unique to this line.

It’s compatible with Delta’s MultiChoice Universal rough valve (sold separately), which enables you to easily make future shower function upgrades or style changes without altering the plumbing behind the wall. If you want the security of a pressure-balance cartridge or the precise temperature control of thermostatics, MultiChoice Universal makes it easy. And with numerous style options for all functionalities, getting what you want has never been so simple.

This Cassidy MultiChoice 17T also utilizes Delta’s TempAssure Thermostatic valve cartridge, which monitors the temperature of the water and adjusts the mix automatically to maintain precise temperature control and to keep the water temperature in your shower within a safe ±3 degrees F. This provides a more consistent temperature than pressure balanced valves can supply. TempAssure valves also feature an adjustable high-temperature limit stop that when properly set helps ensure the handle cannot be turned to a position that is too hot for comfort.

It features a lever volume control handle that’s complemented by a temperature adjustment dial with graphics indicating hot/cold adjustment. This tub and shower trim kit can be used in back-to-back installations.
